Certificate of Qualification (Historical)

This certificate records the satisfactory completion of qualification testing for parts stated below, in accordance with the requirements of the stated controlling Technical Specification. The manufacturer and the product standards, to which they are granted manufacturing approval, are defined on this certificate. A list of Qualified Manufacturers is published in specification TS200.

The Qualified Manufacturer is responsible for renewing the product qualification prior to expiry of this certificate. Please submit a completed Qual Form 4 with supporting data to the Design Authority (SAE ITC Technical Standards Committee) for a decision. The TSC willstated b review the qualification of each certificate at periods of not more than three years and, if considered necessary, arrange for re-qualification of the product.

The manufacturer shall inform SAE ITC TSC of any intended change to the manufacturing process of the product or changes to the company details as described on this certificate, in accordance with the requirements of TS201, by submission of Qual Form 3 - Method Change Approval for Qualified Parts.
